Overview

There are over half a million children living in government-run orphanages and millions more scattered among communities across China. International and Chinese domestic adoption enables only a small percentage of these children to find a loving home each year. Most of them will have no choice but to stay at orphanages or wander the streets, never knowing the love of a family.

In 1994, Joshua Zhong and Lily Nie, co-founders of Chinese Children Adoption International/Chinese Children Charities, established the Chinese Orphan Formula Fund (COFF) to provide nutritious milk and meals to orphanage children. Two years later, COFF was expanded into Chinese Children Charity Fund (CCCF) to provide childcare, foster care, and medical, educational, and disaster relief to hundreds of orphanages. Today, as the only Chinese government-licensed charity in the US, CCCF’s impact can be felt across China, and the quality of life for thousands of abandoned children has been changed for the better.

Nothing is more rewarding than helping a child. Please join us in giving the gift of hope. You can make a difference in a child’s life!
