Basic Needs

Charity must start with the fundamentals. For the children left behind in the orphanages, it is the nutritious food, clean clothes, a heated room in the cold winter, air-conditioning in the hot summer, age-appropriate toys, and basic pediatric medicine to keep them healthy. CCAI donors contribute and channel a large portion of donations year-round to purchase formula, food, clothes, air-conditioners, heating equipment, medicine, toys, televisions, and many other items that directly impact the quality of the lives of children in Chinese orphanages.
