Chinese Cultural Club

At multiple times during the year, the Joyous Chinese Cultural Center holds Chinese Cultural Club events for children ages six and above. Children do not need to attend JCCC classes in order to join club events. Club activities are designed to enhance the children’s exposure to and knowledge of Chinese culture and customs. The children participate in Chinese games, songs, dances, simple language lessons, and art activities. These events allow the children to form a special community of friends, enhance their identity with China, and instill pride in their heritage.
Children are encouraged to ask friends from their community to attend the club events with them. This is a great opportunity to share the Chinese culture and language with friends from school. Club events help children to share their interest in Chinese culture, and provide a fun and natural way to increase understanding and appreciation of each child’s heritage.
Cultural Club events take place on Saturday afternoons from 1:00-3:30 pm, during some of the breaks between JCCC class sessions. Our next Cultural Club will be held on Saturday, April 19th from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm. Please find the registration form below. We would love to have you join us!
