Adoption is just the beginning of a wonderful journey with our children! Our children have a unique blend of cultures that can make their lives very special and exciting. Learning about China and gaining an understanding of the language will empower our children and greatly increase their appreciation of the two cultures that make them who they are.
The Joyous Chinese Cultural Center was created in 1996 to provide the children and adoptive families of CCAI a sense of identity with and pride in the children’s original history, language, and culture.
JCCC programs offer an opportunity to learn basic spoken and written Mandarin Chinese, as well as Chinese dance, art, songs, and games.
At JCCC, children and families meet Chinese role models and share entertaining lessons,
projects, and activities in a warm, friendly community setting. It's a unique place
for our children to spend time with families who look just like theirs.
JCCC programs are open to all adopted Chinese children, as well as their siblings
and friends. All interested families are welcome to enjoy the classes and events!
